DAY 1 Arrival in Johannesburg
DAY 2 An early departure from Johannesburg, travel east towards the Mpumalanga Province and visit the many attractions along the “Panorama Route”.
DAY 3 Upon entrance in the Kruger National Park tart seeing some of the numerous animal that inhabit this magnificent wildlife sanctuary. The entire day is spent traveling inside the Kruger Park. Dinner and overnight.
DAY 4 Spend most of the morning game viewing inside the Kruger Park. Proceed to a nearby private game reserve for an open 4×4 game drive. At dusk sundowners are enjoyed deep in the bush, after which the drive continues, making use of spotlights to search for nocturnal animals. Dinner and overnight
DAY 5 Early morning safari in open 4×4 vehicles after which return to the lodge for a late breakfast. Embark on a guided bush walk with an armed ranger, who will identify spoor and droppings and share some of the fascinating secrets of the bush. Evening safari in open 4×4 vehicles. Dinner and overnight.
DAY 6 Final Open vehicle game drive and a late breakfast. Fly to Cape Town. Pick up car and travel to hotel.
DAY 7-9 Three full days in which to explore the beautiful city of Cape Town and its surrounding areas.
DAY 10 Depart Cape Town along the beautiful Garden Route. Drive across the Du Toit’s Kloof Mountain Pass, along the well known “Route 62″ past the historic towns of Montagu, Barrydale and Calitzdorp to Oudtshoom, the “Ostrich Capital of the World”. Guided tour of the awe-inspiring Cango Caves.
DAY 11 Drive across the Robinsons Pass to Mosselbay, and then drive along the scenic coast from George to the charming town of Knysna, in the heart of the Garden Route. Visit the Ostrich farm.
DAY 12 Full day to explore the Garden Route area between Knysna and the Tsitsikamma forest
DAY 13 Depart Knysna, travel via Swellandam to the southernmost point of the African continent at Cape Agulhas. The route then continues to the famous whale watching town of Hermanus. Proceed to Cape Town.
Day 14 Drop off car at the airport
